Rummy Rules & Strategy
Main Objective of the Game
The main goal in Rummy is to use all your cards to form valid sets (three or four cards of the same value) or sequences (three or more consecutive cards of the same suit) and clear your hand before your opponent.
Point Calculation
An Ace is generally worth 1 or 11 points, J, Q, and K are each worth 10 points, and the remaining cards are counted at their face value. If you fail to clear your hand, the points of the remaining cards are added as a penalty.
Winning Strategy
Pay attention to your opponent's moves and observe which cards they are picking up or discarding. Use or discard high-point cards (J, Q, K) as quickly as possible, since they cause the most damage in an unfinished hand.
